Well, just like the title, do you think Wings of Change would have made a better 2nd sequel than Wolf Quest?

I personally do.
Wings of Change followed Balto 1's sledding story line, WQ's spiritual stuff was a bit random and seemed totally weird next to the original Balto with the only part of that seeming to be spiritual would be the White wolf scene at the bottom of the mountain.
I think that they still could have fitted Aleu's wolf rebellion in WoC but kept more to the sledding too without the spirit stuff.
As in Aleu getting jealous of Kodi getting more attention than her because he is a sled dog and in the race against the plane and then running off to join wolves. It could have worked and personally I would have wanted more character development and for the existing characters to remain in-character.

Your thoughts?

Bwahaha. I thought it would have been better with no sequels at all. 8D !!! <3 But sense there is, I'd say no. I really did enjoy Wolf Quest, and personally I really disliked Wings of Change the most. But that is my personal opinion.

No. I hated the third movie. The second was much better. The third was a bit to boring for me.

I actually really liked WQ as the second movie. XD. I don't really know why. I've just always liked the spiritual stuff, which is why I love Wolf Quest so much. And it was a nice break from sledding and stuff. Which, don't get me wrong, is cool. But I think the Balto trilogy would have been rather dull had there been a sequel that followed sledding as the second movie.

Sometimes Wolf Quest can be found annoying with all the mistakes, but it actually played an important role somehow. Razz

In B2, We learned more characters. We also would need the sequal for the pups. It also talked about Balto wolf side. Wink

Not to mention many fans of B2. Besides, it's great to have all the sequals we could get! WhiteWolf Grin
